Dear FSN Forum members and colleagues,

Urbanization and rural transformation are rapidly unfolding across the world and are affecting food security and nutrition in several ways; they call for new policies and programmes that take into consideration and address the changing rural-urban contexts.

Following the CFS Forum on Urbanization, Rural Transformation and Implications for Food Security and Nutrition held at the last CFS Plenary session, CFS is compiling experiences and effective policy approaches for addressing food security and nutrition in the context of changing rural-urban dynamics. The aim is to draw a set of key policy messages and to support the upscaling of successful approaches and programmes that lead to improved food security and nutrition.

We invite you to send information on experiences or policy approaches you may know of, no matter how big or small, longstanding or just conceptualised, as long as they are aimed at improving food security and nutrition in context of changing rural-urban dynamics.

Please find the CFS call and the review criteria for the submissions below. The call and a template for submissions are available on the discussion page in (English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish). You can upload your completed template as an attachment to your comment online or send it to
[e-mail].

A selection of submissions and resulting key messages will be included in a forthcoming CFS publication: “Addressing food security and nutrition in the context of changing rural-urban dynamics: experiences and effective policy approaches”.

We hope you won’t miss the chance to be part of this process.

شهرنشینی و تحول روستایی به سرعت در حال آشکار شدن در سراسر جهان و موثر بر امنیت غذایی و تغذیه در راه های مختلفی؛ آنها را برای سیاست های جدید و برنامه هایی که به در نظر گرفتن و پرداختن به تغییر زمینه روستا به شهر است.

زیر انجمن CFS در شهرنشینی، تحول و مفاهیم را برای امنیت غذایی و تغذیه روستایی در آخرین جلسه CFS عمومی برگزار شد، CFS در حال تدوین تجارب و روش های سیاست موثر برای پرداختن به امنیت غذایی و تغذیه در زمینه تغییر پویایی شهر و روستا. هدف این است که به منظور جلب یک مجموعه ای از پیام های اصلی سیاست و حمایت از ارتقاء از روش ها و برنامه هایی که منجر به بهبود امنیت غذایی و تغذیه موفق است.

ما از شما دعوت به ارسال اطلاعات بر تجارب یا سیاست نزدیک شما ممکن است از، مطمئن شوید مهم نیست چقدر بزرگ یا کوچک، دیرینه و یا فقط مفهوم، تا زمانی که آنها در بهبود امنیت غذایی و تغذیه در متن تحولات پویایی شهر و روستا است.
